In compliance with the Award Titles Scheme under the Qualifications Framework (QF), the English award title of the programme has been changed from “Yi Jin Diploma” to “Diploma Yi Jin”, with the Chinese award title remains unchanged. The recognition of the programme as a QF Level 3 qualification is not affected.

With the launch of Continuing Education Fund (CEF), Member Institutions provided the majority of CEF courses.
Supported the development of Sub-degree programmes and the subsequent Common Descriptors for Associate Degrees. Many of the first-generation Community Colleges were established by Member Institutions.
Launched Project Yi Jin (equivalent to the completion of local secondary school qualification) by collaborative efforts with the Education Bureau (EDB).
