About the Forum

In an era marked by digital transformation, evolving jobs, and modernizing economies, there is a need for higher education to align closely with the market and support students for the new world of work.  An integrated education that effectively combines academic and vocational elements and equips students with necessary knowledge, competencies, skills, and attitudes for the 21st century, and further empowers them to adapt to and thrive in the future of work and rapidly changing society.

Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) and Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) jointly present the Forum that connects institutions and industry leaders to share perspectives and expectations for the future higher education and to explore the key and new skills and attributes required in the world of work.
