About the Forum

In response to the Government's policy of providing multiple and flexible pathways for young people with diverse aspirations and abilities, and the transformation of future job market by technological advancement, there is a demand to strengthen Applied Education in support of Hong Kong's development.  The provision of equal learning opportunities and adequate resources is significant for young people with various talents and socioeconomic background to flourish, and for the economy and society to prosper.  Echoing the needs, the Forum aims at exploring students' passions, nurturing and preparing talents for future challenges, future workplace, and motivating lifelong learning for this rapidly changing society.

Federation for Self-financing Tertiary Education (FSTE) and Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) jointly bring together institutions and industries to share their views and experience by focusing on practicality and impact.  How students would be well equipped with professional skills, applied knowledge, application of technology and innovation as well as critical soft skills for the new era?  Henceforth, employers are able to secure human resources with right skills.
